“ First time here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The Royal Khayber Masala was a fantastic dish. Really different. ”
“ Never had a bad meal in the place or a bad take away , the food is excellent and the quality of their ingredients are second to none. When eating in, the restaurant is small enough ( still large enough for birthday parties) so that is intimate . The staff are attentive but never in your face. The bar is fully stocked with good quality beers and, the wines ( I'm told by my partner) are of good quality and reasonably priced. ”
“ The restaurant exudes a feeling of tranquility and is very atmospheric, immediately you get a feeling of well being and "yes I want to be here". The menu is extensive and varied, the service and staff are excellent paying due attention but without being intrusive or hurrying, the main waiter saw us taking photos (there were 4 of us) and offered without prompting or asking if we wanted him to take one of us all, a nice touch! Then the food, I have not been one for Indian food but was absolutely amazed at the choices we made and the variation in taste of all the dishes we had. Would I go back there, ABSOLUTELY!! ”

“ This Indian restaurant is located in a small village on the outskirts of Ballymena. It is worth the travel out of town as definitely the best Indian for a sit in meal for miles. There is plenty of parking on the doorstep but also across the street. Nice decor and the staff are pleasant and professional. The food is authentic indian with freshly used spices which you can tell from the flavours. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Recommend highly. ”

As a past official reviewer for 'The Good Curry Guide' it is fair then, to say I know my curry and Indian food in general. This food quality is kept high by the skills of the Head Chef Yousef. I have mentioned the food quality and choice previously and it is still consistantly high quality. The service is friendly and very good, with restaurant staff going the extra mile to make your visit special. Managed by Larsen who has very high expectations in terms of service standards. The general atmosphere is relaxed and we did not feel rushed, as can sometimes be the case in other restaurants. Once tried you will more likely become a frequent diner, like us. ”
